This looks like bad timing to me, CC.... Any way, good luck with the replacement parts Yes, that was my first thought also. So it must be serious as a german hospital wouldn't try to exchange that on christmas, if not neccessary. (I'm not sure about that in Belgium, but it should be the same) So, otherwise at the 26th and everything after; I guess, which is also a bad time to stay there for new years eve. I hope everything will be well for CC with the new one, when it was really neccessary! Only he and his Doc knows it and that is good for him! (in generell you sadly always have to check, if a hospital try to fill it for its economical purpurses) Sorry CC Edited December 12, 2018 by bbudde

I will have a surgery, replacement of my port hip ! Wish me good luck on the 26th of December !! That's the only slot in the doctor's agenda before March, Can't wait because of the heavy pain ! For me, it's not a problem... I just hope that the toe cutter will be sober on the 25th .... I had an accident at work, the first doctor missed completely his diagnostic... Then, I get to another doc who already decided to change my hip but there has been a load of problem since the insurance refused the surgery Arguing that this is not caused by the accident !!! And sincerely, at the time I had a bad feeling about it ! Then I found a good chiropractor who repaced the hip and the vertebraes… But when i fell, I broked the (What's the English name for it ??) Jelly part that stand in between the bones, Cartillages in french. So I knew for sure that the surgery was lying ahead… And now since last june… even my good old Faithfull chiropractor can't do Nothing for me. And the 26th there was a guy that has postponed his surgery so I jump (not so in fact since I no longer can jump) in the freed slot Thank you for the support ! Sincerely. bbudde
Danke, gern geschehen. In Germany it is der Knorpel in der Gelenkapsel. Ouch. That must be a real pain as the two bones scrub on each other like a ball bering without grease. And they are getting worn out much faster and also heavier. That's no picnic indeed. Sorry to hear also about the trouble with your insurance. But why I'm not surprised about that. Mostly they do, when it becomes expensive for them. Every insurance does so. Bad luck with your fall at all. So Ihope you will get a good recovery without complications on christmas. Yep and also neccessary then. Good luck. Cheers Benedikt Edited December 15, 2018 by bbudde

The treatment is still on, they must be sure that I will not reject the titanium and ceramics of the prothesis !! I will not reject any titanium since I'm a great fan of the SR-71 !! Biggles87
Hi CC I hope you're continuing to make good progress, I had a knee replacement last February and the progress was not as fast as I had hoped so don't be disappointed if you can't leap tall building yet. Take your time and remember to do the exercises every day.. I wish you a healthy end peaceful New Year. John

The shape of the prothesis can be seen as a kind of gun !!! Really it has already happened in the U.S In the other hand, who will be surprised that this happened in the U.S customs ?? He told me that I MUST be carefull for a good 50 days, because the stingy part that has been inserted in the femur will not move at all. Then I will make some bone around the prothesis and it will not move again. Unless I give up this idea of parachute drop !! I will buy kit instead of jumping out of a flying aircraft….. The sad and painfull part of this surgery is that the whole leg has doubled in volume…. There are blood everywhere and that must disappear from itself But these compressive stockings are awfull and disturbing… Make me feel like Something in between an old Fanny and a turkey roast… Thanks for the kind words More Harrier story to come of course !! Sincerely. CC
Biggles87
Ah yes, the compression stockings. I had to wear mine for 30 days and couldn't wait to get rid of them At least it's winter now, it must be even more uncomfortable wearing them in summer. Looking forward to more Harriering. Best wishes. John

As for the look of "they're" compressor fans on the Kinetic kit, I've scored each blade on its leading edge with those wonderful GSI Creos 0.10mm chisel blades in order to separate 'em from the leading edge of the following blade. Then I filed down the width of each blade so that there's light between each blade, for which I needed to devise a 0.5mm sanding stick. Be careful with the ring braces on the fan. xffw45343tg
Coming on nicely. I like the boot wear on the cockpit floor, but I do have to say I think the throttle may be a little long for scale.
