Marlin
Hi. Some more progress on my Lansen. The wings have been glued and sanded and are ready for the fuselage.044 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr The fuselage have been glued together.045 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr047 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr I glued the fuselage together in three stages. And I found out that it was easier to glue the back seat in from the underside.046 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr After that was done I reinforced the mounting point with some plasticard strips. The exhaust is in place.048 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr A bit tight for the personel..049 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr050 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr To be continued..... /Bosse
Marlin
Hi. Wing, we've got wings! 051 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr052 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr I've spent three short evening sessions sanding both on the fuselage and and on the wings to get the to fit. And yesterday after atleast 50 dry fittings they suddenly clicked in place. Shortruns isn't for the impatients. Now I'll have the whole Christmas holiday to sand and putty. So I guess I might start painting on the New Year weekend. And speaking of colours, my son decided yesterday that this will be "Red 43" from the F15 wing at Söderhamn. To be continued..... and Merry Christmas to all. /Bosse

Marlin
I'd better get this one done as soon as I can. I'm going to Tallinn, Estonia for four weeks in march on a work related matter, so my own deadline is February 28 for this GB. But I reckon that's plenty of time. I'll have this one in the display cabinet in January. /Bosse
Marlin
Hi. I've got the top coat done yesterday.058 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr Three thin coats of AKAN acrylis is enough I think. The Rb04's also got some more colour.059 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr The plan for the evening is to paint the underside, and perhaps start on the undercarriage. Marlin
Hi, The New Year weekend has come and gone, and we celebrated it traditionally with lost of great food and wine, lots of Icehockey games on the TV and lots of free time at the worktable. This is what I managed to do on my Lansen. The main gears has got some PE parts added.060 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr It took some time to clean up the seams. All small parts are primed and waiting for paint, some are already done.061 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr062 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr And I've clear coated the aircraft twice.063 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr064 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr Next I'll finish the seats and get the decals on. To be continued..... /Bosse

Marlin
Hi, Let's get the decals on.065 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr The first one.066 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr My first SweAF roundel in many years. 067 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr And now you can see that I couldn't resist the day-glow yellow diamonds, so this one will be Yellow 29 from F15 Wing at Söderhamn.068 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr Turn 180 degrees.069 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr And so the topside.070 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr I know that the yellow diamonds are temporary markings for the Autumn manuovers 1968, and my Lansen carry live weapons. I'm playing with the idea that at some stage during that exercise the guys had a live-ex with RB04's And if you think that way live weapons are OK. Marlin
Hi. My eldest son has returned to Vienna, and a sence of normallity has returned to Upplands Väsby. And I'm finally done with the PE belts.085 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr Lots of straps and strings everywhere. Not my favorite past time, but it's looks nice when it's done. To night I plan to put the last four decals on the seats and the clear part that goes either side of the headrest. Then it's time for more PE origami, the air brakes.
