Koppalakki
And we are back! Here's my just finished model of the Uss Missouri. As she was on her last tour in the Persian gulf participating in the Desert Storm in 1991. The base was the old Tamiya kit brought back to life with the Pontos advanced set. Also some Infinis detail sets were used. After that thousands of scratch build details added. Painted with Tamiya acrylics and weathered using AK , Ammo and W&N products. For more detailed build log you can visit here: http://www.shipmodels.info/mws_forum/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=167436 And for more pictures here: https://imgur.com/a/EfkWVOw Enjoy! 62

AeroNautique
That's a stunning representation of the Big Mo...your weathering looks considered and very authentic, you've done an amazing job. Incidentally, I was on her only three weeks ago for the first time (waited 30+ years!), she is a 'must-see' for any naval enthusiast.

Terry1954
Truly magnificent modelling there. I'm still getting my head around that superb 1/350 CH-53 on the back which could easily pass as a much larger scale model. And as for the ship ........... absolutely top job. ejboyd5
Great work. I had no idea USS MISSOURI was still operational in 1991.
general melchett
Great job on bringing the old, somewhat basic kit up to scratch, the extra work was well worth the effort. As mentioned the weathering looks just right and not overdone for the period. Excellent...

Romeo Alpha Yankee
I was on the USS Missouri about 3 weeks ago and all I can say is that it looks like you have more detail than on the ship itself these days! Ihana työ! I have this kit to finish one day and I hope it looks half as good as your when finished.
