Belgian F-104 question

Similar but not identical, in pattern and colours used.

The pattern was similar but not the same, this can be seen in the extent of the tan area across the mid fuselage section. The Belgian scheme also had a very noticeable wavy demarcation between upper and lower surfaces while USAF aircraft had much less wavy lines. USAF aircraft also had a more feathered demarcation between top and bottom, Belgian ones had a pretty hard demarcation.

Regarding colours, the darker green was different: the USAF scheme used the standard FS 34079 of the SEA scheme while the Belgian scheme had FS 34064, slightly darker and more brown. Tot be fully accurate the schemes I've seen for Belgian aircraft had a 2 as first digit, meaning semigloss, so FS 24064, 24102 and 20219 over 26622

According to the Daco Belgian decal set, colours are FS24079 dark green, FS24097 light green and FS20227 ('faded to FS20313") tan", over FGS26622 grey.

That makes them the same as USAF Vietnam camo colours except for the sheen. Check out the link I posted in post  4

Not quite - the standard Vietnam camo was FS34079, FS34102 and FS30219.

Very close, but not the same.

F-104G, Histoire du Lockheed Starfoghter en Service a L'Otan by Robert Verhegghen  quoted the Belgian camo colors as Dark Green 24064, Tan 20219, Green 24102 and Grey 26622 while the US SEA colors were Green 34079, Tan 30219, Green 34102 and Grey 36622, as per the diagrams below.
