whiskey
Is the lighting or the film itself make some of those look a lot darker than others Sven? Or are they actually darker?

Or are they actually darker? I think it is the processing of the film. Kodachrome is usually pretty reliable for catching the correct hues, but occasionally I would get a slide back and think something really weird took place somewhere. Usually it's me if I've been changing exposures a lot, but these were all shot in the same session. That leaves whatever happened to the film after I sent it off for processing - I have a shot looking down on the F-16XL and the Mojave Desert below looks positively pink, yet all of the other shots from that mission look 'normal'. I'm not nearly as proficient with Photoshop to correct it. Anyway, these "Shady J" birds were all painted by the same paint shop within a month or so of deploying to Gunsmoke. One color might change a little bit, but to have the whole airframe come out a bit darker than the rest would be a stretch. That's my story and I'm sticking with it, Sven
