Airfix Short Skyvan

I want 4-bladed props for my Airfix Short Skyvan.

You might look at Short Tucano props- both aircraft used basically the same engine- the Tucano prop looks very similar in size and shape to the ones fitted to the Skyvan. Does anybody in the aftermarket make Tucano props? I noticed when looking at photos of Skyvans with the four-blade props that depending on the version, they could have three, four, or five blade propellers!

Which engine is it ? Original Jetstream and Skyvan  (1A and 2) had Turbomeca Astazous with the long spinner/boss. I think the Airfix Skyvan has those ,certainly old enough kit. Jetstream 31 and Skyvan 3 had Garrett TP331s

Depends which Mk you're doing really but that Jetstream Astazou boss is looooong

I dont know if this is any help but ebay have the cmk 4 bladed props correction set for tucano airfix kit.

Aha, thanks. Does anyone knows the diameter?

Airfix Skyvan props are about 36 mm.

 

Btw I'll make a Skyvan 3, Swedish civilian.

You could do it with engines running, like this Jetstream.

First time I've seen a Japanese boxing of the Jetsream. Nice job on the Navy conversion.
