I followed the instructions and when I had finished someone pointed out that the fins were upside down. I am currently building an Academy H, which clearly illustrates the fins in the same arrangement of the Minicraft kit i.e. with the larger portion below the tailplane. Graham Boak Posted November 24, 2018 Share Posted November 24, 2018 Minicraft and Academy were not separate manufacturers but one and the same at the time, so it was just a single mistake. Graham Boak Posted November 24, 2018 Share Posted November 24, 2018 I did wonder if the left/right parts could be inverted and exchanged, or whether some of the detail (eg rudder hinges) mean that they will have to be separated and re-mounted higher - easier to do on the unmade one, of course.
