Rémi
The end of build, the start of new This time, I choose a kit a recent Special Hobby kit : The Casa 212-100 in Tail Art version It is a part of new line kit with ambition to be a more buildable kit. When you open the box, you find classical grey sprue like you can see in another Special Hobby. But the plastic appeared a little different. It is a little more hard than previous kit. The panel line is also little more thick. I will prefer the old panel line. But the question is ; the fit it is better or no ? A fit test prove too me that this kit is far better than older kit in his adjustement Like you can see You need putty but with less quantity. The junction betweek the fuselage and wing permit to glu the wing after the paint of the fuselage. It is an more easy way for painting the kit I think that this kit should be a pleasure to build

k5054nz
That is not the standard of OOB kit I expect from a Special Hobby Kit. Excellent! I'm excited to follow your build, Remi!
Rémi
Little progress The cockpit details level is fine for the scale. I add only the seatbelt. I think that is not necessary add more details for a thing you can't see The panel instrument consist of 3 decals. I failed adjust the center decals. I use Microsol to help the decals to marry with the panels The cockpit adjust very well in the fuselage. And you avoid sanding/adjustinf seance for putting in the fuselage No problem fo closing the fuselage. You need a little putty. For that time, it is a pleasure to build this showing the progress of Special Hobby kit
Rémi
Sorry for not giving some news during all this time I advance my model and has a little chance to be my last build for the 2018 year and if not, it would be my first build for the 2019 year. 😉 I close the fuselage without major problem. I uses the Gunze paint given by Special Hobby I fan of pre-shading style. This first step give this http://lacitroenbx19gt.com/maquette/Casa%20212/_DSC1247.jpg{/img] Now I can paint the three tones scheme. The next step is the decals set And the most difficult : the tail art decals Decals maded by cartograph The tail art is in three part for each side. Decals are little bigger. I start with the end part. I align with the rear. I use the Microset for helping the decals to set I continue with the second decals. This one, I align with the panel line in the middle of the tail The third part is also align on this panel line that mask the separation. Again I use Microset to soften the decals The final result is an impressive tail art. Special Hobby made a great job ! 5
_alfisti_
Wow, very nice so fare. I like the painting and the decent weathering. I´m waiting for the swedish version to be released from Special Hobby, so it´s nice to read that the kit comes together well.
