Now, I have to be patient and let her dry completely overnight, before the dreaded decals.

Looks like you’re able to finish her soon, Simon! 🙂

Wowza!!! That’s a lot of progress. Great looking paint and the gloss coat has gone on well too. Bravo Simon. 😀

Thanks @giemme, @Nikolay Polyakov, and @The Spadgent, work proceeds, slowly.

Tonight I got the upper surface done.

Not many but fun, (the drawings don`t match the model.

Anyhow.

I am going to let them dry overnight before tackling the underside(s).

All comments welcome.

Thank you @giemme, @Nikolay Polyakov and @Vaastav, getting there.

Right, I have been able to get the rest of the decals on (so far).

Underside.

Port side.

And Starboard side.

That leaves just a few small ones to do on doors etc,

To be honest, I would of painted some of them if I had realized , They would of fitted better..

Anyhow off to bed for a couple of days to let them all dry before sealing.

All comments welcome.

Agreed, and that is always my approach - paint as much as possible - but you know I'm biased 'cause I hate decals ....

She looks great anyway

Thanks @Vaastav, @giemme, @Nikolay Polyakov, and @The Spadgent.

Well, folks not a lot done due to other commitments .

But after finishing off the Christmas shopping I managed to add the decals to the drop tanks.

Hopefully once this storm has passed I may be able to seal those +  the ones on the aircraft with a coat of satin varnish.

Until then.

Liking this. Funny how a year or so back I wouldn't have give one of these a second glance. Now, I've the kit & a great example to follow when I pull it out. :)
