Blacktjet
XN793 in green, with "flagship 92", appears to be missing the yellow "stitching" from the rear fuselage, normally seen on green F.2As. Does anyone know if it was not applied or were they applied in black? I can see the usual black portion on the underside. Any help would be appreciated. tweeky
This is location for the rear trestle so I think it should be there. 5 years on F3's T5's & F6's and never seen one without the markings applied Edited November 15, 2018 by tweeky

tweeky
The front ventral tank come off the no1 engine drops out. there's a top hatch (starts in front of the fin ) this is removed and the No2 engine is lifted out. if your referring to the yellow broken lines that run up rear fuselage that the trestle position when removing the radar bullet and the no one engine other wise she sit on her bottom.
Blacktjet
Well that somthing new I've learnt about Lightnings. If you look at the picture of 793 in the link, it's either missing the broken lines or they are in black, just need confirmation.
tweeky
looks like the lower ones are there but the ones that would be in yellow are missing

canberra kid
Is it the two dashed black lines at the back end as here on XN733? If so, looking at this photo I would say they were not applied? John
71chally
Generally speaking the Green F.2As did have the yellow dashed marks, guessing some exceptions after a repaint etc Phil Bradshaw Flickr
