John the Yank
Some pigment accents left but finished the Hawg. Another overlooked REV/MON gem on my bucket list completed. Wing King's aircraft 1986 time frame, QuickBoost ACES II seat, Master GAU-8 gun tip, Xtradecal's X48-006, stencils from kit & war weary hog sheet. Kitchen Modeller
This is a great warthog John - love the colour scheme and the feathered edges you got on the camo. Details look really nice and crisp. This is also on my to do list - The A-10 is a good looking beast. I'm guessing that this is 1/48?
Filler
That's excellent work. The colours are spot on and the feathered edging is perfect too. How did you get that finish - freehand?
johnny akes
That's come our really well John, the camouflage is striking.
John the Yank
Cheers gents! Camo is freehand with .2 mm needle in Badger Renegade with GS Paints & Mr Color Leveling Thinner. < 10 psi air pressure. John
Filler
That's amazing. I recently had a terrible time trying to freehand airbrush camouflage (and failed miserably), so I know very well how difficult it is. I doth my cap to you.
IGKent
Good job! One advice. Do not need to use flash when making pictures. Edited November 15, 2018 by IGKent
Lord Riot
Brilliant hog! I used to love hanging out near the end of the runway at Bentwaters watching these come and go. Sadly missed in UK skies.

RJ-WobblyHands
That is a great Hog , like soo many of us - a reminder of my younger days. That menacing silhouette flying low over North Essex / Suffolk was a common sight ! I will never forget a conversation with a Lynx Pilot down at Middle Wallop in the mid 80's, when he was talking about NOE flying, there were places that they were required to fly higher than the A-10's pilots

Unfinished project
Superb looking Hawg used to love standing on the approach at RAF Leuchars as these mean machines whistled over head for a quick visit
