goggles

At telford I picked up a copper state models service man on tea break 1:35 scale. The figure has goggles round his cap above the peak.

How would you recommend I paint it to show the glass over the material of the cap. I use acrylics.

Thanks

Little Cars make miniscule clear lenses that will do you.  Check them out, 1mm should be an ideal size for glass in goggles.  They do have a silver backing, but this can be prised off and the plain glass dropped in...……….I use all their lenses for my Accurate Armour lights, be it tanks, armoured cars or soft skinned vehicles.  Paul is on the site somewhere, failing that, just google little cars and check out his site

Paint the cap colour into the recess first, then use the relevant clear paint, tinted or clear gloss, as appropriate. Thin it a bit so that it flows and voila, lenses. It's 1/35, an indication of the lenses is all that's needed.
