Thanks Alan, especially for all the background info. Pleased that you like the end result and the 'hendie' details! :)

Ced my friend I am proud of you, the Nimrod looks fantastic

There is honestly no way, no blinking chance I could have made her look this good

Thank you for tackling her for me and us

Best I have ever seen an Airfix Nimrod finished, truly

Thanks Bill - that means a lot

Thanks again for the kit - she's a great addition to the collection.

Thanks Giorgio, Keith, Gary, Iain, Johnny, Adrian and Tomo :)

Outstanding finish there, especially after the issues you have had with this kit.

Great model Ced. Well done for maintaining motivation through the decal-a-thon.

I can't think of a way to get "far from the wurst Nimrod" in so I won't bother...

Can I add Magnificent  to the above superlatives,I don't think it's been used yet.

I would go for something easy like a Handley Page 0400 next. :coat:

Not at all hendie - fount of knowledge I reckon and much appreciated; it really helped my attempt to do a good job :)

I've just found this and read the entire thread from start to finish over the last two mornings. Wonderful work!

The cockpit transparency refashioning is outstanding; and that's not to overlook the rest of your work there Ced.

Brilliant!
