hendie
Ced, that is a build of quality such as I would be proud to have in my collection I have an unstarted one sitting in my basement right now if you'd care to swap? - it comes complete with the nasty resin cockpit glass too! 1

Wow, thanks Hendie - better not take too many close up shots then or it'll spoil the illusion! 16 hours ago, phildagreek said: Looks fantastic! Martian 👽 Thanks Martian Lights done and, after some fiddling, 'some flap' applied: One of the main u/c assemblies fell off during the fiddling so I'll leave that to dry for a while. Bay doors next...

CedB
Thanks Adrian, Bill (especially for the kit), John W, Harley John, Simon, Nikolay, Giorgio and John (Biggles) It's been a long wait, but we're at the last post! The bay doors on the kit are 'held' with actuators that have locating knobs on both ends. I can't see the holes in the doors and, of course, the resin doesn't have them, so they'll have to come off: Removed on the left one. That done, the doors were glued to one side and then, when that was dry, the other: Strangely, with the bay doors and flaps on, she's no longer a tail sitter: Light lenses with UV glue: Hendie's sticky out bit on the boom: Wipers attached with Gator's Grip thin: Can you see them? Hah! Aerials last. Two pieces of Albion tube cut and bent: … and holes drilled. For the tail holes I decided to drill straight through to make sure they were in the same place. If you do this, make sure your finger is out of the way on the blind side: or you'll get blood on the model Done: Trouble is, she's too big for the photo booth: Luckily it's sunny so I'll take her outside for some RFI shots and post a link later. That's if we don't go over 40 pages. 24
