MP-1964.jpg

Dear Reader,

Is there any specialist on motorcycles that can lead the way in identifying the motor cycle on this picture.

If possible brand name and characteristics like type and engine type.

Time frame from the picture is 1964.

Any help is appreciated.

Highest Regards,

Orion/ The Netherlands.

Hello contributors,

Graham walker is the winner. It is the AJS model 16.

I had his answer confirmed by the Director of the British Motorcycle Museum.

The corporal in the picture is a police officer from the MP Company Royal Netherlands Marine Corps.

Thank you all.

Regards, orion
