Beard
This will be my next build: I'll be using the Sword kit: (Wish me luck with the stripes.) Here are the sprues: The transfers: Thanks to some advice from @LDSModeller, I won't be using the upper surface colours suggested by Sword. I've made a start painting the interior but there won't be any photographs until I've stuck some bits together. Beard
I have been (fairly) busy with this one. Painted the cockpit, dry-brushed and washed it: Assembled the wheelwells: (Those ejector thingies will have to go.) Joined the fuselage halves: and the wings: Joined the wings to the fuselage (after inserting the cockpit bits) Thanks for looking.

Rabbit Leader
Coming along nicely Simon, you sure don’t muck around during the build process! I’ve got a couple of Sword Spits so it’ll be good to see you tackle another of this company’s products. Looks pretty good so far. Cheers.. trickyrich
...and you're off and running flat-out I see, no messing around here. Hopefully that wing don't put up too much of a fight.

What I'd call 'high quality' limited-run: not too tricky but one needs to be careful. 22 hours ago, trickyrich said: ...and you're off and running flat-out I see, no messing around here. I've left the wheelwells because I'm going to make the canvas liners. (I will fill those gaps.) Thanks for looking.

Beard
First coat of NZ Sea Blue Grey on. (In the absence of NZ Sea Blue Grey from Humbrol's - on anyone else's for that matter - catalogue, I'm using Humbrol PRU Blue.) Thanks for looking. Beard
I think that I've done all the stripes... A few touch-ups are required and it's not prefect but I'm happy with it. Thanks for looking.

That looks good, especially as you hand painted it. I can never get good results like that even with tape, hand painting Not far to go now and your done (mine is lagging a bit, canopy framing is causing some frustration) Thanks for sharing Regards Alan 1
trickyrich
she looks very smart with her strips on.
Rabbit Leader
Nice colours you’ve used there Simon, she’s really looking good with the additional white stripes, such an iconic identification feature that was. I’m starting to get quite tempted to do a kiwi P-40, however I have so many Aussie Kitty’s to build it would be a shame to not use a fair portion of my many decals. I’m sure you’ll finish her off before I do mine. Cheers.. Dave

She is nearly done - as the photograph below will show - and don't get distracted, crack on with the Aussie P-40s (which are looking good, by the way). All the transfers are on.* Thanks for looking. * apart from the underwing roundels.
