Merlin
Hi, WW2 British High speed launches. What were the props, stainless steel or bronze or ? most uninitiated people perhaps reach for the silver paint but I am trying to give it extra thought here ! Jamie @ Sovereign Hobbies
Cast bronze seems to have been the norm. If your travels ever take you near Portsmouth the Historic Dockyard has a big shed full of boats you can poke around. I even got some 507A and 507C measurements from various sanded back paint layers from one launch from HMS Royal Sovereign sat in there.
