stevej60
Hi folk's,the other build in this duo is Tamiya's old but still lovely Spitfire,as I said in the 109 post I was reading Wellum's book and was inspired to model these kit's for the first time and tinker with the new airbrus for weathering etc.An added bonus was Tamiya provide decal's for Geoffrey Wellum's 92 Sqn I believe he flew QJ-G.Anyway here she is same script as the 109 Tamiya paint's mixed by my own fair hand's and thank's for popping in!
modelling minion
Excellent Spit Steve. Your new airbrush (combined with you of course!) is getting great results.

ColinChipmunkfan
Nice model well finished. The pair of models are to a very high standard. I think Wellum's book is one of the very best accounts of the BoB along with The Last Enemy by Richard Hillary.

Bullmann
Beautiful Spit, with the nice panel lines and thoughtful amount of wear. There’s of course countless discussions on the nose length on the Tamiya kit, but I found it such a joy to build myself, as all Tamiya kits, that I didn’t bother. To me it looks like a Spit, and your work with it even more so.

Dazey
Very nice BoB Spitfire! I agree with what others above have said. What paints are you using with the new airbrush – looks like a nice finish. Regards, David

Neil.C
Beautiful job Steve. I've nearly finished a couple of MK1A's but they don't look like that. 😫
