Paul821
60 years ago the Remembrance service at Little Maplestead church in Essex had a special guest. who had also dropped in a few weeks earlier: This is from an copyright free US newspaper At the service Pilot Major Douglas D. Steward was presented with a framed print of the church. To mark this anniversary I have used an OOB Testor's T33 as the basis for this simple diorama. I realise this is a different livery to the crashed example but it ads a bit of colour. It is in WIP as I still have to add decals and some hedges and on lookers,
Paul821
Slight pause while I waited for the onlookers to arrive. 25 figures from GM Models for under £4 including postage. I found them via a commonly used search engine. This is what you get They are 1:50th scale but they should not look too out of scale when in one corner of the diorama. I selected these as being those that looked more of the period - late 1950's. I will not use all six.
