Hey!

Back into modelling after a long break (25 years 😥).

A huge flanker fan, I am trying to build a 1/72 Trumpeter Su-30 MKK right now. Kinda brush the dust project, already a few mistakes though.

Waiting for a Su-33 and su-27UB.

Next big step will have to convinve myself, and my wife, I need an airbrush...

See you soon in the build section.

Cheers,

Xav

Mistakes aren't that bad of course. Thats how we learn to improve or hobby skills. The airbrush is an investment and will help you take things to a different level. However i would wait till you have a few kits done and are sure you want to spend the €.

Hi Xav, welcome to the forum, you’ll enjoy it here. I returned to modelling not that long ago and faced the same dilemma about buying an airbrush. I agree with Dennis’s comment above, don’t rush into it until you’re sure that you’ll be doing kits on a regular basis. You can buy a lot of rattle cans for the cost of an airbrush, compressor, cleaning stuff, etc.etc. But once you do decide, then it’s a good investment, but takes a bit of practice, that’s for sure.

Have fun with your model making and the forum.

Regards Ian
