Kitchen Modeller
Looking great - you can really start to see the level of detail this kit after the wash - it's just about as good as the airfix version...
Christer A
Nice job with the decals and wash! I see that the wheel bays lack nasty ejection pin marks as well...Well done Hobbyboss! Roger, I hope you'll add more weathering ?

Thanks. I think for the price the kit provides a pretty good representation of the aircraft and there's certainly no complaints about fit etc. 39 minutes ago, Christer A said: Nice job with the decals and wash! Thank you, yes, there will be further weathering. ☺
Roger Newsome
A few weeks ago (at least) I read on this very forum that the code for this aircraft, PR-M, was actually MN131, 130 in this and other decal sets and illustrations being an error. I even made a note of it so I wouldn't forget. Guess what I'm changing this evening? 🤔

Roger Newsome
Landing gear and prop on. I'm touching up the canopy trim at the moment. Just the rockets to add and a little bit more weathering should just about do it.
Sturmovik
Love that Typhoon. I remember when I built my only HB kit (Me 163) that the smaller decals didn't stick to the surface, how were yours?

I didn't use the kit decals so they weren't a problem. 😆

I think A comparison with some photos and drawings would highlight a few inaccuracies but it's fair to say it looks like a Typhoon but more importantly I'm enjoying it.

The weather isn't that great here at the moment so I should have enough free time on my hands today to get the rockets on.

Christer A
Compared to the Airfix kit, the wheels do look a little thin, don't you think? Off to RFI next?

Off to RFI next? Yes they do, perhaps the groundcrew haven't blown them up yet. Everything seems chunkier than the Airfix kit apart from the tyres. 😕 RFI? Soon I think. ☺
