Looking great - you can really start to see the level of detail this kit after the wash - it's just about as good as the airfix version... :)

Thanks. I think for the price the kit provides a pretty good representation of the aircraft and there's certainly no complaints about fit etc.

Nice job with the decals and wash!

I see that the wheel bays lack nasty ejection pin marks as well...Well done Hobbyboss!

Roger, I hope you'll add more weathering ?

Thank you, yes, there will be further weathering. ☺

A few weeks ago (at least) I read on this very forum that the code for this aircraft, PR-M, was actually MN131, 130 in this and other decal sets and illustrations being an error. I even made a note of it so I wouldn't forget. Guess what I'm changing this evening? 🤔

Nice looking Typhoon Roger!

If only HB's P-51D Mustang where as nice as their Typhoon...

Thanks very much Andre. I think A comparison with some photos and drawings would highlight a few inaccuracies but it's fair to say it looks like a Typhoon but more importantly I'm enjoying it.

Compared to the Airfix kit, the wheels do look a little thin, don't you think?

Off to RFI next?

Yes they do, perhaps the groundcrew haven't blown them up yet. Everything seems chunkier than the Airfix kit apart from the tyres. 😕

RFI? Soon I think. ☺
