GordonD
On a brighter note, it was eighteen years ago today that the Expedition 1 crew arrived on the ISS, beginning an unbroken presence aboard that has continued ever since. After the Soyuz MS-10 abort there was concern that the station might have to be temporarily shut down until the cause of the problem was found but the next launch is scheduled for 3 December with the present occupants returning to Earth on 20 December. https://www.interfax.ru/russia/634329 (in Russian)
