RichardKynge
I have recently built the Roden model of a Gotha G.II/G.III. However, I have found that the decals shattered when immersed in water. I have managed to salvage the crosses, although putting them on was like doing a jig saw puzzle. The letters and numbers, though, have broken up into numerous pieces. As the kit offers an alternative of three examples, I wonder if anyone has built one and not used the Go.GIII 389/16 version and could let me have the relevant decals. If not, does anyone know where I could source a spare set of decals for this model? Many thanks.
stevehed
Having suffered similar misfortune I invested in a bottle of liquid decal film. If there is any doubt due to age or reputation I coat the sheet before use. The Gotha G11/111 is definitely within the dodgy Roden period and should be treated before soaking. RichardKynge
Many thanks, Steve. Forgive my ignorance, but would Revell 'Decal Soft' be good for this?
berman
Use Microscale "liquid decal film".
