F/A-18A Hornet "Adversary" 1/72 Hasegawa

Recommended Posts

Hello Folks,

This is the quite old Hasegawa kit but still a good one. I added an Aires cockpit, Tamiya Sidewinder and Hi Decals product. The flaps were simply cut from the wings and the forward flap part made in plastic card. The ladder is from scratch too.

Hope you like it.

Cheers

Hello pelican,

Great build and finish, especially on this scale.

I like the device on the right wing. Not seen much on models.

Impressive! Would you mind telling me what paint you used for the lighter brown? I'm busy with an NSAWC F-16 and had to mix my own to get that shade but would rather use something strainght out of the bottle.

Again, nicely done, looks great!

Hello,

Thanks again for your comments. I am afraid I didn't do any WIP for this model. I started the kit in December 2017 then painted it few months ago, I didn't remember the paints I used for the light brown but it was a mixture of 3 or 4 Gunze paints (sand, red, a bit a yellow...). As far as I remember it was not easy to get the right colour.

Regards
