Doubt anyone over here will be getting hold of them anytime soon. And I see DMold have announced that their spring relaunch is cancelled and that they are on indefinite hiatus. https://dmold-modelworks.com

Is there anyone left that still makes seamless intakes for 1/48 Hasegawa Phantoms of any variant?

I've a couple of these sets.  Every bit as good as the D-Mould  set.

That’s good. At least the Spey Phantoms have seamless intakes available and they do J/S intakes too. Looks like it’s all over for all other variants in the Hasegawa range. A pity because they really need them.

it's essential to replace the MLG wheels with Navy-style ones (either using resin ones or the fat Navy wheels found in the Hasegawa RF-4B box).

What difference was there between the FG1 and FGR2 main wheels?

None. But both use F-4J wheels.

The original Hasegawa releases had vinyl rubber tyres and metal hubs. The Revell repop omits these and features only plastic USAF F-4C/D/E wheels.

BTW, I though Alleycat had shut down shop and sold off all remaining stock. Maybe time for Aerocraft to give 1/48 F-4 inlets a go.

A lot of their stuff is being sold at Modelsforsale, but the British Phantom intakes are out of stock at the moment.

There is also a guy in Greece selling/ making great stuff for the British Phantoms ( and  Jaguar)

He is en ex Greek airforce pilot if I remember correctly.

He at least used to hang out on BM... Will try to post a link if I find it later ;)

Edit: Ted: email of Facebook...

Not sure if still in business though... but definitely worth a try!
