Onezonedrone
Hi everyone I'm building a spitfire 1:72 from airfix the new kit the put out a couple of years ago. I've sprayed the model with mr colour primer 1200 and now want to paint it with mr colour paints. Is there a conversion chart for the humbrol paints that came with the kit to the corrisponding Mr colour paints? Only thing I can find online is an RAF WW2 Early pack from mr colour but it is not the paints needed for the scheme on the box. Any help is very much appreciated. dnl42
Gunze's Mr Color site identifies these colors in their traditional range (C1-C140): C21: Middle Stone, C22: Dark Earth, C23: Dark Green, C25: Dark Seagray, C26: Duck Egg Green. There's another range, (C351-385), with additional colors that Gunze oddly doesn't have any clear info on. Fortunately, Scalemates has this page with a far more complete info; check out the range in C330-C375
CharlieNZ
Basically Dark Earth C22, Dark Green C23 and Duck Egg Green C26, although the latter could do with some white to lighten it a bit, especially for 1/72.
