Chrissy_J Posted October 27, 2018 Share Posted October 27, 2018 ... so I thought I'd drop by and introduce myself. I'm Chrissy and I live in Manchester. I started model making in my teens with Airfix and Matchbox kits, then Tamiya 1/35 figures and 1/12 motorcycles, and went on to Games Workshop's wargame miniatures but I took a break in my early twenties when Life got in the way. Now I have two teenage kids and a life partner, and a lot of time on my hands due to illness, so five years ago I started again with a Tamiya Ducati Desmosedici kit I found in a charity shop. I had to rebuild my paint and tools collection along the way, but now I have a respectable stash of kits and paints. I build whatever takes my fancy; I just finished the Tamiya 1/35 Cargo Truck (an Opel Blitz in all but name) and I have an Aoshima 1/12 V-Max and a Tamiya 1/24 Austin Mini Monte Carlo edition on the finishing bench. I like wargame minis too, especially Warlord Games' Bolt Action, and North Star's Frostgrave ranges. Anyway, that's me. Any questions? 7 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
