Lord Riot
Hi all, does anybody know a good technique for ungluing a model kit? I bought a used kit on ebay and stupidly didn't read the part where it said it has been started. So annoying! Is there any way I can unstick the fuselage and cockpit so I can start it myself? Does leaving it overnight in the freezer work? It's been stuck with normal model kit cement from a tube. Any proven tips and advice welcome! Thanks! bentwaters81tfw
Try the bottom of the freezer. It can't do any harm.
Gorby
If you're very, very, very patient, you could leave it thirty years and then it would probably fall apart. If you're one of these young whipper-snappers who can't wait a few decades, then the freezer thing is probably the best bet.
Steve Noble
Just use a fresh blade and gently score along the join lines until it parts...

Hm...if you're going to wait a few decades, perhaps you should be a young whipper-snapper...

You want ideas AND you want them to be practical! You don't want much.
