First Mess-sprues, some may like it, some not, let's just live with the fact that this is our brand new model, based just on Special Hobby's and Eduard's sweat and toil...

Well said Petr. The 'debate' on your Facebook announcement was beyond a joke and while I'm not a fan of the subject you have every right to release whatever you choose to. I hope this sells well for you.

Hi Peter ,

In this thread

On side of the main subject - the Fairey Battle  (as the aftermath of play for guessing what the new model can be) we are discussing the problem of early ("narrow fin") Douglas DB7 kit . Was it ever intended to be issued by MPM/SH/Azur/Frrom companies? Any chance for this or we should all (who like to have it) start already today a scratch conversion of an existing later variant kit, not waiting any day longer? :) If there is even tiny chance, we will all wait, I am sure about it...

Best regards

Jerzy-Wojtek

HPM (High Planes) do an early DB7 kit in several guises. They can be a bit of work but the core model is (I believe) quite accurate. This would be a much better starting point than taking an A20 variant into the operating theatre for reconstructive surgery.

I'm glad we have contact with Special Hobby in Britmodeller; I have built some really nice models that are Special Hobby kits, hope to build more in the future! I built the SH 72237, Seversky P-35; SH 72303 Brewster Buccaneer; SH 72264 Vindicator Dive Bomber (The Marines go to War); and a Vultee Vengeance dive bomber, (yet to be built)! No doubt there will be more that I fancy; I rather like the limited run kits because they allow me to make models that no other, or not many other manufacturer has made before and add them to my collections!

They aren't that hard to assemble, you just need the basics, they may not have the guide pins that airfix have but just a couple mins extra to make sure that the parts are perfectly matched; I've had older Airfix kits that were totally wrong and unbuildable but I can made the Special Hobby models perfectly!

Love the Meteor NF11 but have you considered doing the conversion parts for a TT20? Particularly with Danish markings? But of course there are also some other great colour schemes.
