Redstaff
Hi @Procopius Not sure how I've missed this one, but add me to the list please, haven't built anything BOB for years, so seems like a good place and hopefully relevant time slot to do it Ian

DaveyGair
I have my Airfix BoB set just for this (all 'in flight' and scrapping of course), don't know how I'm gonna build 4(!) models in the time allowed though Davey.

FalkeEins
....just noticed this. Perhaps I should commit, after all its far enough away for some planning to take place (..more like work out my excuses). I can even see the Battle of Britain memorial from the back garden. If the weather is good, it'll be busy overhead...everyone and his dog pootles past for a look on a good day - even had three Broussards in trail formation last year. I will dust off the Jagdwaffe colours books and find an Emil or two with some neat artwork ..or perhaps something a little more obscure. Actually I quite fancy doing the machine flown by Staffelkapitän Oblt. Günther Schulze-Blanck ..
Heather Kay
Hmm, I suppose I really ought to step forward. It would be rude not to. I already have examples finished of the main characters in the Battle, so I would expect to build at least one of the supporting cast that doesn’t normally get the acclaim for the work they did during the period.

Retired Bob
Having just finished reading Tom Niels book; Gun button to fire. All about his exploits of flying a Hurricane of 249 Sqn from North Weald during the BoB. It would be down right rude not to build a 1/48 Hurricane in his markings of GN-F. Count me in. Colin W
Hi Just to whet the appetite of the undecided, here is Airfix's Avro Anson built for the 40th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain in 1981. Wombourne ASVC (now IPMS Wombourne), had a display in some cabinets in the center of Dudley over the summer to commemorate the event. Most club members participated and this was my effort as a 16 year old, now 38 years old herself. The first model I ever airbrushed. Kit decals and Humbrol paint of course. She's lost a few aerials over the years and the MG is long gone. The maps are still on the navigators tables though. As a finished model she's sailed round the world twice at least so maybe further than some of the originals. Colin W

SleeperService
By the time this happens I'll be well settled in my enforced early retirement I'll being joining in too please Sir. One will be the Spitfire that lasted 15 minutes as a nod to all the workers and maintenance people who didn't get to see the Battle at the time. I may do an Italian aircraft as well. Very brave men in inferior aircraft who paid heavily.
