"What a people! What a chance! The whole of Europe humiliated except for us. And the chance that by our stubbornness we shall give victory to the world.”

With the moniker of ‘Rabbit Leader’ it would be silly not to take part, so I’ll play along as well if that’s ok. Looks like a great group of modellers already assembled and a fitting tribute to a huge turning point of the Second World War.

I’m already thinking of an Anzac 1940 themed double build to honour both Australian and New Zealand pilots that took part. Good call P.C.

Cheers. Dave

"We knew we had to win, but more than that, we were certain that we could not lose. I think it had something to do with England. Miles up in the sky, we fighter pilots could see more of England than any other of England's defenders had seen before. Beneath us stretched our beloved country..."

I think this would be a great idea. There are plenty of new mould Spitfires and Hurricanes about to get people interested.

Makes me feel a bit old though as at the back of my cabinet I have an Airfix Anson built for the 40th Anniversary of the BoB with my then model club (ASVC) in the UK. We did a 6 months display in the Churchill precinct in Dudley. Its the oldest complete model I have in my collection. If I can find a Classic Airframes 1/48 I'll update it!
