Avereda
I picked up the starter kit version of this on holiday in Orkney last week so I might as well give it a go here. It’ll be out of the box but the starter kit pAints will be binned early doors. Edited October 20, 2018 by Avereda Photo

Avereda
Up and running, some green stuff on the interior and (not pictured) a masked canopy.
Avereda
Dry fitting of cockpit and undercarriage, a bit of fettling to do but I think it’s basically ok.
Avereda
Fuselage together after a bit of a fight and the wings on without the slightest problem, so I’m fairly happy with progress so far. One near disaster after my office chair ran over the tail plane but it seems to have survived the trauma. My chair also ran over a starter pot of Humbrol 33, the carpet has not survived the trauma so well.

Avereda
Out with the airbrush and on with the paint, it seems an age since I got this far into a build. Black primer followed by Hataka’s Insignia White.
Avereda
On with the Dark Gull Grey... ...and off with the masking Clear coats, decals and weathering next - I might yet have something for the 2018 yearbook
Avereda
After a year of complete GB failure I don’t really want to tempt fate but it looks like I might finally get something finished. All the decals on - glossing, weathering, matt varnishing and pointy bits to follow.
stevehnz
Looking good, I bought the same starter set just for this scheme, its nice to see one done so well, there is hope for mine yet. Steve.

Steve. Thank you very much Steve. I’ve ploughed on over the last couple of days with some extreme, for me, weathering and some matt varnish. I might even have this done by the end of the weekend which would please me greatly, it’s over a year since I finished anything.

Ventora3300
Fantastic finish and well done for beating your hoodoo (or whatever a dip in motivation is called). You've persuaded me that I too could slip in a Wildcat before the end of this GB so I'm off to see what I've got. All the best. Mike.
