nick32
Hi, currently working my way through a very enjoyable Spitfire build and at the painting stage. I've printed off some very helpful masks to aid me with the camo, but i'm a bit stuck on how to temporarily 'stick' them to the model so i can paint. I know i could transfer them to Tamiya tape, but i don't have enough to hand right now. I've had a thought that i could possibly dampen them a little with water to 'stick' them on, but can anyone see a problem with this? Otherwise i could use Humbrol Maskol but i'm not sure i trust that going over Tamiya acrylic.... Any thoughts on my ramblings would be very much appreciated! Thanks, Nick

spitfire
Yep I always use blu Tac or White tack sausages to hold my paper masks in place, this gives a nice tight edge to the camouflage. You can see it here on an old build of mine , page 3 I think Cheers Dennis
