drake122 Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 Damn, Flankergasm! Probably still over a year away though, seeing they haven't released the UB yet. 1
kotey Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 Start to count days to Su-27UB release - very soon. Both moulds of new sprues is in tests now. 2
drake122 Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 Nice, looking forward to it! They also announce SU-57 https://www.scalemates.com/kits/1172396-zvezda-sukhoi-su-57 2
Silverkite Posted October 17, 2018 Posted October 17, 2018 (edited) Mihaly machine from Ace Combat 7 is now on my to do Flanker list, hope Modelsvit will gift me the T10M cause there is no way I'm going to waste Yellow 13 and Yellow 4 decals on a Su-33 Luigi Edited October 17, 2018 by Silverkite
Hoops Posted October 18, 2018 Posted October 18, 2018 I'll be picking up a few 27UBs and as well as these 30SMs, it's a good time to be somebody interested in Flankers! Hoops
Ryan Hothersall Posted October 18, 2018 Posted October 18, 2018 Looking forward to getting a few of these.

nubrawarriors Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 Great news about this. Should be a painless conversion to the Indian AF Su30MKI. Some RWR need to be added and replacement instrument panels. 1
Robertone139 Posted December 15, 2018 Posted December 15, 2018 Or we can mate it to the rear of their Su-33 and get this.... 2

Uncle Dick Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 (edited) Thats done it - only one seated pilot or are there two sets of the pilot sprue? Don't tell me the Russians are copying the future American plans of flying twin seat F-15 "arsenal jets" solo!🤘☝️➡️ I like the box art on this one Edited April 7, 2019 by Uncle Dick

Although I didn't buy one...AFAIK, the Zvezda Su-27UB kit had two sets of the pilot sprue. I can't imagine they would only include one set in the Su-30SM kit ? Ken 1

Learstang Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 That's an impressive amount of plastic there! That two-colour plastic has a sort of groovy, Matchbox-vibe to it. I wonder if the production kits will come in the two colours. Regards, Jason
kotey Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 All serial Su-30SM sprues wiil be boring grey colour.
kotey Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Decal for Su-30SM model are ready: Customers of model form first batch will be happy owner of decal with missing letter T in Multirole word, all other batch will be corrected. 5
Flankerman Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Excellent! - including decals for Kazakhstan ........ Plus a bonus 'First Edition' decal sheet with an error on it - that will double the value of the kit .... Andrey, do you know if there are any plans to make a Su-30MKI/MKM/MKA from Zvezda??? It would be a shame not to make the most out of the moulds - the Su-30SM/MKA/MKM/MKI is the only Flanker variant missing from the lineup of available Flanker kits. This new kit plugs that gap. Ken 1
