Thom216
Thanx!😁 Got the last two windows in, the ones that straddle the fuselage seam. I taped the fuse together, then sat them in one at a time - and made sure to glue only one side! I also started gluing in the bomb bay doors, which will require a wee little bit of cleaning up.
Thom216
Alright, after fettling the interior into place, I was able to close up the fuselage. Was a tight fit near the nose and I couldn't discover what was interfering, but some good pressure overcame it. Not however, before the internal pressure did this to my largest clamp. Feker exploded right in twain! But it's a casualty I can live with. On with the build, and some last looks before all is invisible! And onto the Vanishing! And with the canopy and belly bubble in place. There some gap at the lower edge of the canopy screen, but a little filler with do. The seams are UGLY, and I was hoping to avoid too much sanding, but it looks like I'm in for it now. Esp the bomb bay doors. That's modeling though. Exhaust tax Model on!
vppelt68
Looking good, any chance of finishing by midnight? Keep up the build thread anyway, we're interested in seeing how she'll look like in the end!
Thom216
Naw, it will be passing me by. Again!🙃 I'll keep up with her though. If only because I have too many on the unDun shelf to keep adding more!
