For those of you still wavering about whether you want to join this GB or not, take a look at @Vinnie build of the Heller 1/72nd SAAB J-21, a great result from a classic Heller kit. Come and join the multitude, you'll enjoy it! The rules are simple, any original Heller mould originally released before 1 Jan 1986, any subject, any scale, any manufacturer, any re-release, aftermarket allowed. Other manufacturer's kits in Heller boxes are not eligible though.

You have just encountered what is known as WWEMD (What Would Enzo Matrix Do). If a modeller is in a quandary as to which of a selection of models to build, @Enzo Matrix will always respond "Build them all!" A wise person (or more correctly, someone who has suffered encountered this before), will learn to keep their mouth shut not give him the chance to say it.

To me the golden years of Heller are those from the mid-1970's until the mid-1980's when the hook-up with Humbrol went sour, so I propose anything from Heller prior to the Humbrol years is admissible for this GB. This means any original Heller mould originally released by Heller up until 31st December 1985, it doesn't have to be in a Heller box, Heller kits have been released by many other manufacturers - Airfix, Buzzco, Encore, KP, Lodela, Revell and SMER to name but a few, but another manufacturer's kit in a Heller box would be ineligible (Heller released some Airfix kits in their boxes). Cheers, Antoine Antoine, Welcome along, you're not too late to the party and there is plenty of room for more, you're number 83 which is the year I joined the RAF and met the Wonderful Mrs Wez so it's a very auspicious number for me. Congratulations!! A brief run down of the rules is in the attached. Welcome to GBs, there's no turning back. Of your choices, they're all great BTW, but I'd love to see the Leo451, if you've got the Les Mureaux left over you may want to consider the proposed French Fancy 2 GB for next year? AntoineG
Hi Wez, I'm glad to be number 83 😃. This is also the (probable) year I started serious modeling. The LeO will be probably the chosen one. Thank you for the French Fancy 2 tip. Will probably join as well. But let move a baby step after another. Cheers, Antoine
