Good evening fellow Britmodellers, let me present my longest build to date, it’s been Seven long months and a lot of blood sweat and Tears to get this iconic bird over the finish line. If you followed the WIP you’ll be aware of the back story so I won’t re tread old ground. If you’re interested in the WIP you can find it here.

I’ll keep this short and sweet and get on with the pictures. I hope you enjoy the shots. I wished I had a brighter day to take them but as autumn looms so does the light. c'est la vie.

Good evening John. That's awesome and a tremendous built at all. Great looking Lanc and as always with your builds. Cheers from a summer day here deep in October.  Strange!

Hopefully awful can be something like awesome. If not, I'm sorry for that. Cheers Benedikt

That is just beautiful John.

The care and attention you've put into it, coupled with deep respect for the lost crews shines through. It's a moving and quietly dignified tribute to all of them.

Lest we forget.

Wow!  That is superb!

Though not my preferred scale, I really admire your skills with the all the details.

I particularly think the canopy framing is brilliantly rendered - seemingly black first; then the camo over it, leaving a slight black surround.

The interior details have been beautifully realised too.

Awesome work all round.

Oh my word. Thank you all so much. It was a Joy to build and I’m so glad you all like the final result. You’re all far too kind.

I’m really looking forward to my next build. If I can figure out what it’ll be. 🤔
