Ad-4N
Using the World Famous Lego jig to ensure alignment. Yeah, I could spend $40 USD on a fancy wood jig, but I raided the grandkids Lego stash. They won't miss a few. Also the iPhone Measure app comes in handy too. John Masters
That is a good idea. I like the smartphone level too. How is the fit and kit design on this Roden product?

How is the fit and kit design on this Roden product? Thanks. It is a strange kit. Some parts (the wings and tail planes into the fuselage) fit with such precision you’d think it was molded by Tamiya. Other parts (like the way the dive brakes “fit” the fuselage and the front engine nacelles “fit” the wing) you’d conclude two different model companies were involved. But overall, I like it a lot. Unique subject, lots of thoughtful detail. No one else will ever release a 1/48 Mohawk, that is for sure. One suggestion: get the Quickboost OV-1 exhaust resin set. I didn’t and spent too many hours sanding the seams.

Andwil
Sounds like the usual curates egg of a Roden kit. AW

There’s the 1/72 version from Hasegawa, first released in 1968. I remember the AMT version of that kit. Man, I am OLD.

Biggles87
I've always liked the shape of the Mohawk and have the Roden kit. I bought some AM seats for it and am Eduard cockpit set and I might even get around to building it one day, until then I'll watch yours if I may.
