F-104G Starfighter (Erdnagel) Bundesmarine

Recommended Posts

Hello mates,

here a real oldie of mine. The "Erdnagel", Luftwaffe nickname "tent nail" (of Bundeswehr official spares part list for tents) because of its favourite "flight" attitude.:boom: I built this kit in 1979 together with the twoseater. German TL Decal lettering aged quite a lot. Microscale decals are perfect as new....

Cheers,

Tom

Guten Morgen Sniffing Tom!

Outstanding!!!

Built almost 40 years ago, and such a beautiful duet of 104s. You were indeed a very precocious and gifted lad, in the days when you were not yet abusing intoxicating substances...

What a sad story...

Anyway, the Bundesmarine Starfighterrs sport my favorite paint scheme, so I am biased!

Great show!

Thank you, guys!

Thank you, Jean! The only problem was, the Starfis made such big holes, there were no tents in sufficent sizes to use the Erdnagel properly!

Cheers,

Tom

Hello Replicant,

Enjoyed your "widow makers".

Especially the german Navy examples are nicely colored.

Regards, Dirk / The Netherlands.
