Hello Everybody ... This is my take on a VVS lend-lease Hurricane built for the Brits abroad G/Build.

vz6qULc.jpg

It doesn't represent a specific unit/aircraft. It is my interpratation of a well used Hurricane IIB in Soviet use. I opted to paint it in winter white wash. Specific mods include the replacement of the 8 core .303’s with the heavier Soviet guns, the associated panel lines, & the RS-82 Rockets and Rails. Without further talk I present my white Hurricane.

Note sure if that is a really bad paint job or a brilliant winter scheme.😎

Check the WIP out, there really is a full paint scheme underneath the white. 😉

Very nice ,while we are on the subject of Hurricanes in Soviet service ,i read in a book Stalin threw all the remaining Hurricanes down mine shafts at the end of the war .

He didn't want anyone to know Russia had to use foreign weapons ,sound a bit odd even for uncle Joe .
