StephenCJ
Another kit I should not start. This is the smallest plane I have ever seen, so why not. Thanks for looking. Stephen
DennisTheBear
I've one of these in the stash so I'll follow along. Really like the minimalist markings. DennisTheBear
Andwil
I built one of these a few years ago, the engine is a beautiful little model in its own right but I found it impossible to fit within the cowling. As it would be invisible anyway I ended up leaving it out and display it separately. AW
StephenCJ
A little progress. This is a very small kit. Instrument Panel. Upside down. Cockpit. Need some seatbelts. Engine. None of this will be seen Fuselage. Thanks for looking. Stephen
Courageous
I've only seen one of these built 1/48 and that was small, in this scale it must be tiny! Stuart
StephenCJ
Finally some progress. Thanks for looking. Stephen Edited April 16, 2019 by StephenCJ
StephenCJ
Decals on, there is a lot of decals on this kit, 8 in total. They are very thin and easily torn, but settle down well. Next exhausts. Thanks for stopping by. Stephen
StephenCJ
More progress: Engine and exhausts in place, the exhausts are a nightmare to install. Had them the wrong way around and glued in CA, took them out and stuck them in the right way with PVA. MGs and pitot tube will be replaced with tubing. The MGs have to have a piece added to them to make them longer, there is no way the glued extensions would stay in place. Have a look at the box art. Engine cover had to be thinned on the inside to fit over the engine and some of the exhausts had to be chopped a tad. Wonky wheel is also fixed. I have snapped the tail wheel off. Thanks for looking. StephenCJ
Finished, well not quite. Forgot the undercarriage rope. Thanks for looking. Stephen
Beggsy
Nice! I'm planning to make the Type 18 (same except with a tailskid, I think) for the upcoming blitzbuild, so thanks for the preview!
