We also call it half a pig`s a*** in a roll.

With Ketchup or Brown sauce,

That has a certain ring to it!

A butty is your friend west of the Prince Charles Bridge

A rivet counter with an endoscope might, but this is tucked up in the nether regions, difficult to pick out with a mk1 eyeball,

it's your build, change it if it bugs you

Thanks @HAMP man , you cannot beat a butty sir.

Update.

Paint the U/C, what a pita.

I still missed a bit.

GM P 10

That's why I prefer to paint the U/C pieces on their sprue and then scrap the paint before gluing.

Can't wait to see your Martlet done and on its wheels.

Thanks @CedB, @giemme, and @Sturmovik, yes I could of painted then glued but it was a pita fitting it together so went this way instead.

Update.

Glued the U/C to bulkhead.

Clamp them legs

After several dry fits, sanding here and there, came to these pics.

FDF 1

FDF 2

Last shot of the inners.

TTI

Before applying glue and buttoning up.

BU 1

BU 2

And head on.

BU 3

Use of the cowling ring plus tail plane was handy to.

Leave to set for a while before next op.

All comments welcome .

Smart internals, the pit looks great!

Almost ready for paint outside, wings should be straightforward with virtually no filler, hopefully!

Are you going to go for a worn look or a fairly new paint job on her?

It`s not that bad Anil, as long as you clear all the locating slots etc and take your time, mind you painting it is another thing!!!!

Cheers @giemme, the seams are not to bad , may get away with a heavy coat of Primer filler.

Strange, where did they come from? I had issues with the underside but thought it was just my ham tiredness.

PPP and gentle sanding will see you right.

Simon, I have patience of  Bart Simpson when he's missed his ADHD medication...plus where's the fun in doing it sitting on its wheels, you cant futz about with magnets and acrylic rods=almost as much fun as building a kit !

A problem for me is the lack of pilots...unless you're building a drone.

Think most of the new tool Airfix come with a pilot, Martlet and the Tiffy do.

Great engine by the way Simon, forgot to say earlier!
