Top of the list would be a Gladiator. If they want to do another big twin then a Meteor F.8, but I cant in reality see that. Julien But a 1/24 Gladiator would only be about 8cm. Even Maxiumus Decimus Meridius wouldn’t top out much beyond that?!

Overhaulin
A little left field but June next year will be the centenary of Alcock and Brown making the first transatlantic crossing. The plane is in the science museum so Lidar access. Do yes 1/72 Alcock and Brown Vimy is my bet.

Nick Belbin
Yes - 1/24 scale Spitfire Mk1 AND 1/24 scale Hurricane released at Telford! So you’ve got time to build them in time for the BoB anniversary! Remember, you saw it here first! 📣🔔📣🔔📣
Morlock
As much as I would love to say a 1/72 Lincoln especially the longer nosed RAAF version, Scimtar in 1/72 and other subjects I think we will see the usual run of Spitfire variants, B-25 variants, F-4 Phanton II variants, BF-109's, P-51's etc etc etc One popular thing they might tempt me with is a Vought Corsair WW2 vintage, but I won't hold my breath about that either. Another year of saving heaps ahead as I have a huge stash and not interested in "upgrading" to new tools. I'm sure the price would be comparable to the 1/24 Typhoon, if not cheaper, as the Camel is a much simpler aircraft.

RussellE
One thing comes to mind, that no-one seems to have mentioned yet is a Ju88 in 1/72. A new tool kit is the only thing missing from their BoB line up....?? One thing's for certain: Airfix will be over the moon at how much interest this thread's generated! Hi guys! We know you're reading! 🤗 Edited October 24, 2018 by RussellE

A newly tooled Ju 88A-1/5 would make a nice addition for one of those dogfight boxings, together with a Bf 109E, Spitfire and other aircraft. Also, there aren't any BoB Ju 88s available in 1:72. Nocoolname
Now on to 18 pages. This feels like digital version of a 'reverse-raffle' whereby everyone throws an idea into the hat in the hope that Airfix picks one 😜 Maybe that could even be the future of the hobby?
