andmarsh
As a newbie to car modelling,  I really like the look of the jagermeister porsche. Revell or tamiya though. They both look pretty good. I have a fair selection of vallejo and tamiya acrylics,  are there are lot of paint colors required to paint the car? Or just mainly orange 😜  Thanks Andy
Rob G
I've recently bought the Tamiya version- it's a Tamiya kit, 'nuff said. The Revell looks to be pretty good too (in photos), with the bonus (assuming that you like that sort of thing) of a separate engine; Tamiya's kit is a curbside. Â Either would be nice, and I'm going to chase down a Revell kit to compare at some point. To make an easy build, I'd recommend the Tamiya as the simpler option, but new Revell kits are generally pretty good too. Maybe buy on price? Â For paints, have a look at the instruction sheets, which should be available online with a little digging. Tamiya recommend using their TS12 Orange spray can for the shell, and I'd use the same thing on the Revell kit too, it's superb paint. Â For more detailed info, check some online reviews, there'll be a number of them available. Â I wish now that I hadn't sold my 1/12th Tamiya version of the car... fet_thunderdome
the only plus of the Revell is the engine, but for the rest Tamiya is far superior. And it has photoetched details too.
