Recommended Posts

Hello, modelers.

I present you my new model. This is my first model in the 1/48 scale and the first Japanese. On this model I learned to perform scratches and new weathering effects.

Enjoy watching

Very nice.  Not familiar with the plane... Looks like the designer had a quick squint at a Spit's wings and an American pre-war fuze on his way to the drawing board.  Scratches, eh?  I do a lot of that, too, but mostly scratching my head saying, " Where the devil does this bit go?"

Excellent build ! You hit the camouflage perfectly and the chipping looks very realistic. The exhaust stains appear a little overdone, though. Japanese aero engines were relatively 'clean' since they operated with a very lean mixture. Anyway, I love your model, particularly as it represents the less common version with closed canopy.
