Terry1954
This is looking really good Dan. This thread is definitely a go to reference for me when I do my Sea King builds. One day soon. Terry 1

Rickoshea52
Nice work. The winches on our yellow cabs were always covered in spatters of oil/grease/muck over the housing. And I thoroughly detested doing which washes which were just about every see in.

Ex-FAAWAFU
Some more subtle painting on show in the underside view; I really like the oil staining seeping backwards from the collector cans. Proper job! 1

Dads203
Cheers everyone for the comments and the likes. Final home run now, next set of pictures will be in RFI for this build. Slinging marking have been masked up and sprayed along with some subtle weathering of the blades. A few snagging points to take care of and its finished Regards Dan
xffw45343tg
That quality of detail at 1:12 would be impressive. Had you thought about retraining as a neurosurgeon? 1 1

Stalker6Recon
What they said....... Just when I thought it was done, you pull out a bit more magic, those blades are perfect! Cheers, Anthony
Dads203
A few more snagging points taken care of. I bought the HGW rivets for my last Sea King Build but they didn't work out too well so thought I'd give them another go. Added them to the winch housing, some came off with the backing film so its a partial success. A blast of MRP exhaust soot to knock them back and they should be okay.
