In 1/72 i was able to pick-up a heller Bf-109B/C kit for $3. Its not a “Dora” but close enough.

I'd say that's an ideal entry for the Classic Heller GB in 2020

For myself, I bought something that isn't a Mirage for once but is a Vampire with an outrageous accent!  Frrom-Azur's SNCASE SE-535 Mistral based on the Special Hobby Vampire.

After looking for several years I  picked up a copy of a compilation of 2 CDs called 'Premier Collection of Instrumental Hits'. Cost me £1.86 and has a copy of 'Carter Takes a Train' by Roy Budd without the train noises in the background, quite a few other good tracks as well. Also a two water filters for the fridge. It only needs one, but less hassle to order two.

Well, it's here!

I don't "do" 1/48th scale as a rule, mainly due to storage and display issues. However, being an Airfix fan, I feel I ought to support such releases as this so that the company can continue to provide the models I really want at 1/72nd scale.

Now, the question will be when should I begin to build my 1/48th scale air force? There's a Defiant to go along side the Blenheim, too…

Now that all the parts are bought for my guitar, couple of Freightdog/ KP Seafire IBs (well it does come with two markings options) and some other bits and pieces.

On Tuesday I have a meeting which may (or may not) result in my promotion in substance to a position I've held nominally for the past four years. Needless to say I'm insanely stressed, and took the edge off with:

Eduard Riders in the Sky 1945

Airfix Wellington w/mask

Some goodies for the Tamiya P-51D to make a Tuskegee Focke-Wulf killer.

All in the respectable scale.

Yes, Simon. I think Valiant Wings books are excellent. So, I've been collecting them for a while. And they have excellent service too.

Cheers
