Justin M
Finished Mig-15 using AK Interactive xtreme metal paints. Very nice kit to build and paints much easier to use than Alclad!

opus999
I love the finish on this. Did you put a sealer on it? I was thinking of starting a Dragon MiG-15 this weekend -- seeing this makes me want to start it more! Great job!

franky boy
Nice work Justin Completely agree about the Xtreme metal paints. Did you use a varnish of any kind over them? James

Tempestwulf
I tried AK extreme metal aluminium this week for the first time. Highly impressed with their colour, smoothness and durability. Take a Mr Color gloss coat without loosing sheen either. Might looks snazzy, thx for posting
Dazey
Hello Justin, Very nice looking Mig UTI – I'd also be happy to see more pics. Can I ask you and @Tempestwulf whether the AK Extreme Metals are lacquer-based paints? I'm tempted to get the AK Soviet Aircraft 1950-1970 Colours Set, but I'm hesitant to start using lacquers. It seems odd that there would be sets that are a mix of acrylics and lacquers. Many thanks, David

Justin M
The clear coat is Alclad Aqua gloss. Very easy to use. AK Xtreme Metals say they are enamels on the side of the bottles. They dry pretty quick and coverage is excellent.
