Homebee
Released - ref.ACRK32-11 - Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation CA-12/13/19 Boomerang Sources: https://www.alleycatmodels.co.uk/commonwealth-ca-121319-boomerang-6124-p.asp https://www.facebook.com/AlleyCatModels/posts/937841836416345 Quote (...) The first Boomerang kit castings have touched down, and the kits are live on the website, cost is £135. (...) Quote The Boomerang is a very comprehensive kit, with over 170 resin parts, 47 photo-etched items, vac form canopies with clear resin lights etc, white metal undercarriage, decals for 4 aircraft with accurate stencil data, canopy masks and detailed walk round pictures of a real Boomerang airframe. Vac-form canopies produced by Rob Taurus are included, the pattern was made with assistance by Red Roo. Decals are supplied for all the markings these include 4 aircraft with artwork: U-Beaut 2, Sinbad II, Zoot, and Millingimbi Ghost. U-Beaut 2, Sinbad II and Zoot have been done from period photographs and have been reproduced as accurately as possible. Zoot has many unknowns, but we have catered for that as best as possible by offering alternatives. Millingimbi is a controversial Warbird but included it as it offers something a little different. Stencil data decals for the airframe are also supplied with assistance in production from Red Roo Models. Additional notes and information on colour schemes and details will be provided in the kit to offer the modeller even more insight to the Boomerang and to the decal options that are offered. Red Roo Models assisted greatly with the supply with this model, so many thanks to Gary Byk, and Edward Russell of Red Roo Models. Also thanks to Richard Hourigan for his comments and input on colour schemes and technical points. V.P.
