Apparently there are virtually no details especially on the wings, hope that will be rectified before it comes out

I see details and panel lines are better visible in the enlarged pics on their home page

Looks like an easy kit to me - note that the main components are all pre-painted. If the shapes are right and the fit is very good it can be used as a basis for some detailing for those who want to.

The F-toys Oscar has already been announced. This one from Platz will be the kit variant.  I really wouldn't expect it to be fantastic.

Those tail feathers could do with some attention, looking a bit bedraggled.

I wouldn't discount it on the grounds of its connection with F-Toys, though there is perhaps some reason to wonder about the likelihood of damaging the finish from assembly by conventional means.  Looking at it,  the engine cowling appears a little too flat-sided in plan, but that may be a flaw in my perception rather than a failing in accuracy - there is a design problem cowling a two-row radial in any other way.
